English Sneak Preview

Hi folks!
A little mouse told me a few days ago there will be a Sneak-Preview at Cineplex FN in English! After we had such a great time watching "James Bond" we should meet again ;)
A Sneak-Preview is a special event, taking place every Monday at Cineplex Friedrichshafen. You'll pay a special price (5€) and have no clue which film will be shown. No risk no fun!
So on December 1st, the sneak will be in English and I think the film will be a pretty good one - but no promises ;)
If you're interested, please contact me on graumario@ph-weingarten.de. Like last time we need drivers, so please tell me if you could drive or need someone to give you a lift.
Hope to see you soon!
Cheers,
Mario - StuFa English

PS: Please check out our group at StudiVZ called "DIE PH CINEASTEN"

Bake Sale Success!

Over 270 Euros was raised at the bake sale! We're working on an appointment to hand the money over to the Ravensburger Tafel. It's very likely that we'll have the press there, too! We'll let you know when that's happening and hope you can join us!

Ms. Allmayer's Current Condition

Ms. Allmayer returned home yesterday, a day later than expected, with mixed news. The good news is that the tumour has been removed. However, doctors also told her that 6 out of the 12 lymph nodes are cancerous. Ms. Allmayer will be undergoing daily radiation treatments for the next few weeks which should "hit them on the head," as she says. She will also be taking daily treatment medication for the next five years.

Ms. Allmayer out this week

We've just heard that Ms. Allmayer has been written ill for the rest of the week. She sent an e-mail out about her condition last week and it's posted on the bulletin board outside of her office. The bad news, it looks like she'll be out for a while. More news to come as soon as we've got it.

Ruth Allmayer Update

We've got a little news about Ms. Allmayer. As many of you know, she has been fighting cancer since earlier this year. She had some major surgery last week and is doing fine. And she will be released from the hospital later today. She thanks everyone for their warm and caring messages and hopes to be back at the PH soon, but it all depends on how things go. If you would like to send Ms. Allmayer a card or anything, you can contact Ms. Mackintosh.
